A Mindfulness Guide for Survival – a workbook – is an indispensable guide to survival, that will help readers work through their mental health and provide them with an essential roadmap to a healthier, and happier mind as well as giving us the right tools to be able to deal with the challenges of day-to-day life.
So starting from the beginning of lock down, I’ve been witness to the public mood, from the shock of being locked into the shock of it being let out. I’ve been proxy to this human roller coaster ride sitting beside them in the same car. Arms up and screaming with them as we plummeted into hell and face off, teeth bared as we climbed back up. This bird’s eye view of humans at their most raw and vulnerable, was the motor behind writing this workbook. In case we’re ever caught with our emotional pants off again, I offer it as a little guide to help us build our bulk as far as learning to deal with the unknown.
This isn’t just a how to survive post-pandemic, (we were lonely, uncertain, fearful, too busy, too distracted, too needy, too delusional before the pandemic) this is for survival in general – how to get through a day without thinking we’ve failed, we didn’t do enough, we should have, could have…..
